Very LOVING, playful and a bit shy. She loves ALL dogs and LOVES to play and run in the yard. She will need continued training and it is highly suggested for her due to her back ground. (see below) She LOVES to lounge on the couch right along with you. She LOVES kids! She is a bit on the BIG DOG Size so we recommend older children. She is a precious girl and would love a wonderful understanding family. Her story: She came to us form Aztec, New Mexico Shelter in Dec. 07. She was from a litter that a family had that owned her parents. Mom is Pyrenees & Dad is Dane. Once the pups all started getting big, they started to wander off the property and head to the town, (they lived in the rural area of the desert.) She was and still is a runner, so training is a MUST for her. Tessa WAS VERY SHY and afraid of humans when they got her and with time, patience and lots of love she has blossomed into a very sweet loving girl. She still has her moments when she is not too sure of things but we work with her on them to re-assure her on them, And hope that anyone who adopts her will continue to do this as well.
