Hi, my name is Flurrie and I Am a one-year old, husky mix here to find my forever family. I am a very happy, active, curious young boy and I still play like a puppy! That means I would love a high-energy family that is willing to help me drain my excess energy and work with me on my manners, such as my toddler-like tendency to put my mouth on everything. I am living with several other dogs in my foster home, so I would enjoy another canine companion but would be just as happy as your only fur-child. And speaking of children, I would do best in a family with kids over 8 years-old just because I can get a little too excitable for small children. People say my white coat and blue eyes make me one of the most *handsome* guys they've ever seen. But even with all the loud "ooohhs and aaahhs" of admirers when I am out in public, I don't get too distracted. How is that possible? Well, actually it's because I cant hear them... I was born deaf so I am technically a "special needs" pup, but my disability hasn't slowed me down one bit! In fact, I have been learning basic obedience commands using hand signals and will do just about anything for a jerky treat.
