How to Keep Your Pets When You Are Pregnant
Toxoplasmosis and Your Cat
Many woman fear the risk of toxoplasmosis during pregnancy. Fortunately, much of that fear is based on incomplete information. You can get toxoplasmosis from many different sources, including gardening, animal feces, and even raw meat, but there are plenty of things you can do to avoid infection. The truth is, yes you can keep your cat!
Not Enough Time
Another common concern during pregnancy is a lack of time. We do tend to lead very busy lives and sometimes we reach a point where something has to go. This is a very real problem, but I'd like to make the case that the "something" doesn't have to be your pets.
Having pets in the home can actually improve your quality of life.
